This course will prepare student teachers with the competencies required to teach Life Skills through the values and attitudes of the Basic Education Curriculum for creating the types of citizens Myanmar envisions. Life Skills are the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for citizens to solve daily life problems. Out of the 21st-century skills, student teachers will learn nine basic competencies: problem-solving, creative thinking, critical thinking, decision-making, self-awareness, communication, interpersonal relationships, empathy, and coping with stress and emotions. This course will enable student teachers to know the development of their own teaching and learning resources, activities, and different assessment approaches.
