This course will prepare student teachers with the competencies
required to teach the Life Skills subject through modelling the values and
attitudes promoted in the basic education curriculum for the types of citizens
and society Myanmar envisions to create. Life Skills are the knowledge, skills
and attitudes necessary for the citizens of our society to solve daily life
problems and live happy and healthy lives. In line with Myanmar’s five
strengths that have been valued and passed on generation to generation, and the
21st century skills that aim to prepare with the nine basic competencies for rapidly
changing world.
