This module will prepare student teachers with the competencies required to teach various learning areas and subjects through modelling the values and attitudes promoted in the basic education curriculum for the types of citizens and society Myanmar envisions to create. Teaching in a classroom is dynamic and challenging, and student teachers need to practice to develop their approach in how to respond effectively to meet the different needs of their learners. Likewise, Myanmar is a diverse country and although much of the education system is centrally prescribed, each classroom will vary.
