Course Objectives
Learning Outcomes
- Critically reflect on the importance of philosophy in education;
- Summarise the major philosophies and educational theories and how they apply to classroom practice;
- Explore different strategies to use as an educational leader in the classroom and the theories these strategies are inspired by;
- Consolidate what you know about educational philosophers and the philosophies they have contributed;
- Reflect on and integrate core educational values into your teaching approach; and
- Write your own personal teaching philosophy.
